"The author acknowledges that everyone's grief journey is unique and offers Bright Stars of Promise and Dung Truffles of Resistance that can help readers cope with their own grief. Real. Raw. And practical. Kudos, Michelle! Thank you for sharing your heart."
"Michelle's book offers a transparency with the losses in her life as she shares some excellent insights and reflections. Her memoir paints a vivid picture of the heartache of her grief and yet the hope of eternity for believers. Excellent Scripture references throughout as well as other resources that were well used."
BIO

Michelle Joy Teigrob has lived through heart-crushing times of loss. Her twin and closest person on Earth to her died when they were 21 years old. Two other sisters have since died from cancer. And both her parents are now in heaven. Recently, she faced a different kind of loss; her oldest daughter decided to leave home for a country thousands of miles away.
In her new book, Joyfully Star-Mapping through Life's Dung Piles, Michelle writes about finding her way through her wrenching sadness.
Using the dung beetle as a picture, she describes the “bright stars of promise” that continue to help her cope moment by moment. She also lists the “dung truffles of resistance” that give her just a bit more strength to keep pressing on for one more day.
Michelle worked for 15 years as a journalist. She has been teaching as a college professor since 2018. She and her husband, Mike live with two of their three children in Canada.
